I'm gonna go with Texas.
Texas - 24
Alabama-17
I suck at the whole score thing but I pick who I think will win. See who can get the closest.

About to get going here on ESPN...should be a good game but I'm going with Oregon. I expect Jacquizz Rodgers to beast it up but Oregon is just the better team.

Anybody watching this game? It's freaking amazing right now!
Standford redshirt freshman Andrew Luck is straight up tearing apart Oregon's defense. (So is Toby Gerhart obviously)
Good game guys, if you can watch it I suggest you do.

Well I can honestly say Bama got lucky with this one. Mount Cody blocked 2 field goals including what would have been the game winner. Cody and Bama got lucky he didn't get flagged for taking his helmet off before the play was over and letting Tenn rekick it.
Alabama's offense in this game was, well, where was it? And the defense looked very tired and gave up a touchdown late in the game.
My hats off to Kiffen and the Vols for a well fought game that they easily could have won but the breaks didn't fall their way.
Ingram had an okay game for Bama tho he did lose his first ever fumble that set up the Vol's touchdown and put them within 2.Vol's then got an onside kick and went down the field and set up a 45 yarder with 4 seconds left. Cody then burst thru and got a hand on it and saved the game for Bama.
I can see Bama falling from number 1 in the AP and maybe even dropping to 3 in the other polls if Florida and Texas get decent wins tonight.

Lou Holtz?
I can't stand listening to this looney old bat on ESPN. At times he can say or do something humorous, but I am not sure if that is because he is actually funny... or if it is just because he is old and senile.
Any one else agree with me, or am I just one in a small group?

This is the big game of the SEC, easily. Both teams are still getting their feel of the ball. LSU has the motivation but if Joe Cox would relax a bit and throw more accurate, this could be an even better game. It's 6 -0 right now but after the half, it should really begin to heat up.

This game is a lot better than I thought it would be. Notre Dame seems like they're playing on the reserve while Washington is firing from all cylinders. The :50 run at the end of the first half not only gave UW the lead, but also huge motivation for the second half.
Golden Tate is really impressing me though. The guy is in every play for the Irish somehow.

-First, congrats to a very deserving CJ Spiller for becoming the new all-time ACC leader in all-purpose yards. He just keeps reminding me why he's so much fun to watch after performances like today's. He had some issues getting the ground game going, but I don't consider that entirely his fault. But I'll get to that. That second half kick return was one of the best efforts I've ever seen this season from a Clemson player, and it doesn't surprise me at all that he was the guy to pull it off. Keep repping, CJ. You're the only great thing our team has left.
-Props to that Clemson D for practically gift wrapping back to back scoring opportunities late in the game. Aside from Spiller, they were the only thing I enjoyed seeing on the field today. Unfortunately, they were about the only thing on the field in the second half.
-Yet again, Clemson's offense showed that a complete lack of cohesion will nullify even the best defensive and special teams play. Swinney, get your head out of your conservative ****ing ass and call some damn pass plays when your deep in Maryland territory, or better yet, when you're trailing in general. Ever wonder why the run isn't that great nowadays? It's because that's all you call. Holy ****...I'm pretty sure Bobby had that exact gameplan. That worked out pretty well, didn't it? Back to back scoring range drives blown because you didn't have the cajones to call the mid-deep range plays when we needed to the most. True, Jackson shouldn't have missed those kicks. But my guess is both of those situations could have been easily avoided.
-Here's bright idea number 2: Willy Korn has been riding the bench for 3 years now. Might be time to put your project QB (who probably knows the system by now) on the field and let him lead this team. Kyle Parker has made it painfully obvious, in both the Tech game and now this one, that he has no idea what he's doing in the pocket when he's under pressure to perform well and trying to come from behind. HE ISN'T READY. Why is it that almost every Clemson fan screaming at the TV today probably saw this but you didn't?
*sigh*
Anyway, props to Maryland. I don't want to take away from them for playing stifling D, because it was some awesome stuff to watch. CJ had no place to go, Parker was under constant pressure to get rid of it, and the coverage was all over Ford to make sure he didn't even get a read. You guys earned it.

Gamecocks currently up 16-3 with 14:49 left in the 4th quarter.
Jeeze, is there any good team in the country? This looks like 2007 all over again, which is good.

Two things.
1.Jacory Harris is awesome and will only get better.
2. Georgia Tech is looking very overrated. Need more passing and less predictable running. I know the are an option team but if they wanna win they need to pass more.

This game is on at 4 PM EST on ESPN. I realy dont have a favorite team in this one but I will go with Rutgers in this one. Rutgers is usually a well coached, solid football team. Should be a good game to watch.

This has been a good game so far. They are in the 3rd qtr with Oklahoma leading 10-7. The most note worthy news here is that Sam Bradford sustained an injury to his right shoulder. They are calling a sprain of the ac joint in the shoulder for right now and he is out of the game useing the second string QB. I hope that Bradford is not hurt to bad, I never like seeing anyone get hurt like that.

For all the college football fans of TFP, you should tune in to tonight's game. I am going to the game, and every year, the Holiday Bowl is usually one of the best non-BCS bowl games, very competitive, high scoring and usually every year has a close game.

I feel that Notre Dame should not have been blitzing with a35 point lead, I wouldn't have a problem with it if it was their 2nd or 3rd string but it was their 1st string!!!
what do you guys think????
