TCU/BOISE ST

I am a little offended, they just killed two birds with one stone by making them play eachother. Stop side-stepping the future BCS! Your choices are outdated, and satisfying alum is living in the past. I think TCU/ALABAMA was the logical choice this season for the BCS.
The lesser conferences deserve some love, especially when they dominate the tough games on their schedules as TCU and BOISE both did this year. Texas, this year however, does not deserve their BCS bid. Their defense is improved but they barely squeaked by too many 'bad' games and while they won, they did not win with any conviction or do anything this season to impress or justify to me their BCS championship bid. After a lot of thinking TCU Vs. 'BAMA is the logical choice. The underdog conferences and the PAC-10 deserve some more love in the future.

I could be bias because TCU is less than 5 miles from here, but pretty much everyone else agrees with me so maybe not?

That being said, having Boise State play TCU most definitely is garbage.

That's debatable, and should not be left to a computer system to decide, nor should it be left up to anyone but the players.
What is not debatable is that the Fiesta Bowl is a quintessential cop-out by the BCS. Instead of giving both schools a chance to be a legitimate BCS buster as Utah did last season, they let them duke it out amongst each other, almost as if to say, "Here's the game for the non-BCS teams that don't deserve to be here but made it on qualification anyway. Have a nice day."
I hope Texas and Alabama have a horrid game while TCU kicks ass. And hey, what about Cincinnati? They have a claim to the title if they beat Florida as well.

Wow I dont know where my head was. Should have been TCU vs. Florida NOT in the title game, and would have liked to see TCU vs. Alabama in title game.
Jeez.

TCU fans need a reality check. Guess what? Cincinnati PASSED YOU in the BCS standings so if Texas lost, you still weren't going to Pasadena.

It's like they relegated BSU and TCU to the kids table. Bull ****. Nobody, NOBODY, wanted to see this matchup. Yes, it will be an intriguing matchup, and probably better than any of the other BCS bowls (except the MNC), but as SteVo pretty much said; the BCS has eliminated the possibility of a BCS buster. TCU vs. Florida would have been a great matchup as would Cincinnati vs. Boise State. I don't see it happening with the "Brian Kelly to Notre Dame" headlines, but let us hope Cincinnati somehow takes down UF and Texas can beat Bama in a controversial game by 1. I'd love to see a split NC.
