Discuss series here.

San Jose goes up to seventh place after beating the Kings for a date with the Blues. St. Louis is great at home and the Sharks are so inconsistent. Blues should win and advance.

Don't be quick to dismiss San Jose. Despite the Blues great year, they are still a young team. The Sharks have more experience and could come out on top.

San Jose in 6.

Yeah but the Sharks have also been pretty meh all year. Not to mention Halak has single handedly carried a team to the conference finals before and now he actually has talent around him.

I like the Blues in 5.

I'm always up for some playoff OT (or Big Boy Overtime as Craig Laughlin called it during the Caps telecast on CSN) especially when I have no real interest, gonna be watching game 1 until it's over

ADDED (10:48) oh, Halak is playing for St. Louis now? I'm officially rooting for San Jose in this series

ADDED (10:55) some good opportunities on both sides, but this looks like it may go to 2OT

ADDED (10:56) aaaaaaaaaaand second overtime it is

ADDED (11:16) Sharks win on a decent shot, probably one Halak could have gotten earlier in the game

Well St. Louis tied the series up last night with a 3-0 win. Halak got knocked out of the game but Elliot did fine in relief (which comes to the shock of no one).

:yep: Anyone who has followed the sport this year knows that Elliot has flourished in Ken Hitchcock's system

Well St. Louis went up 3 games to 1 last night with a 2-1 victory. San Jose just could not solve Elliot until the very end.

Looking like my Blues in 5 prediction might hold true. :D

The Avalanche would have probably played the Blues tougher. :( :disgust:

BwareDWare94  : (24 May 2013 - 08:18 PM) this time, I'm definitely right lol
BradyFan81  : (24 May 2013 - 08:19 PM) chris anderson trips over his own feet, foul on Indiana
blotsfan  : (24 May 2013 - 08:21 PM) jeez, heat cant hit foul shots
BwareDWare94  : (24 May 2013 - 08:21 PM) I'm telling you folks, this happens in every game. The scale might vary, but on nights like this, the favoritism identifies itself.
BwareDWare94  : (24 May 2013 - 08:21 PM) Are they really calling that foul on Augustin? Are you fucking serious, NBA? This shit can't fly.
blotsfan  : (24 May 2013 - 08:22 PM) you mean where he blatantly held andersen?
BwareDWare94  : (24 May 2013 - 08:22 PM) He was fronting him.
BwareDWare94  : (24 May 2013 - 08:22 PM) a front isn't a hold.
BwareDWare94  : (24 May 2013 - 08:23 PM) Oh my God. You can't be serious.
blotsfan  : (24 May 2013 - 08:23 PM) he was literally grabbing his arm
monstersofth...  : (24 May 2013 - 08:23 PM) Wow. This has to be the first time minimize the shoutbox.. this is crazy
monstersofth...  : (24 May 2013 - 08:24 PM) I minimize**
BwareDWare94  : (24 May 2013 - 08:24 PM) I didn't see that.
blotsfan  : (24 May 2013 - 08:24 PM) bware, thats your problem. you believe literally every time a foul is called against the team you're rooting for, its the wrong call
blotsfan  : (24 May 2013 - 08:24 PM) yes bad calls happen, but not nearly as often as you think
blotsfan  : (24 May 2013 - 08:24 PM) then you missed it lol

RANGA+  : (24 May 2013 - 08:24 PM) what a boss
blotsfan  : (24 May 2013 - 08:24 PM) it was obvious
BwareDWare94  : (24 May 2013 - 08:26 PM) I know, but I don't think there's anything wrong with complaining about NBA officiating, and I wish more fans would do it--and voice their opinions--so that the NBA might eventually pull the plug on the favoritism, the grey-area calls. I want consistency and quality. At this high of a level, the officiating should be outstanding.
.AirMcNair.  : (24 May 2013 - 08:27 PM) It's one thing to complain about the officiating
.AirMcNair.  : (24 May 2013 - 08:27 PM) What you do is on an entirely different level
.AirMcNair.  : (24 May 2013 - 08:27 PM) So beyond
.AirMcNair.  : (24 May 2013 - 08:27 PM) What regular people would consider simply complaining
.AirMcNair.  : (24 May 2013 - 08:28 PM) You complain about things where there isn't even anything to complain about
blotsfan  : (24 May 2013 - 08:28 PM) basketball is a very fast sport
blotsfan  : (24 May 2013 - 08:28 PM) what happened to allen?
blotsfan  : (24 May 2013 - 08:28 PM) i know technical free throws are the hardest type, but theres no reason for him to be missing so many
Sarge+  : (24 May 2013 - 08:29 PM) You know it's the heart of the offseason when Richard Sherman a.k.a the best young CB in the NFL gets called overrated.
Sarge+  : (24 May 2013 - 08:30 PM) el oh el
RANGA+  : (24 May 2013 - 08:32 PM) the term overrated is too subjective
RANGA+  : (24 May 2013 - 08:32 PM) and gets used way too often
BradyFan81  : (24 May 2013 - 08:32 PM) You're overrated
blotsfan  : (24 May 2013 - 08:32 PM) yeah, and it can change
blotsfan  : (24 May 2013 - 08:32 PM) if a player gets called overrated enough, it can make him underrated
monstersofth...  : (24 May 2013 - 08:32 PM) Austrailia is pretty overrated
blotsfan  : (24 May 2013 - 08:32 PM) the opposite can happen too
blotsfan  : (24 May 2013 - 08:33 PM) for that case, look at london fletcher
RANGA+  : (24 May 2013 - 08:33 PM) for every good player you'll find one guy out there who thinks he's overrated
RANGA+  : (24 May 2013 - 08:33 PM) yeh true blots lol
Sarge+  : (24 May 2013 - 08:35 PM) That Aaron Rodgers... man he is so overrated.
BradyFan81  : (24 May 2013 - 08:35 PM) George Hill for 3..BANG
RANGA+  : (24 May 2013 - 08:36 PM) lol ive actually heard that before sarge...
.AirMcNair.  : (24 May 2013 - 08:36 PM) Richard Seymour's son is going to be playing at UGA this year, his first year in college
.AirMcNair.  : (24 May 2013 - 08:36 PM) That kind of weirded me out given Seymour is only 33
.AirMcNair.  : (24 May 2013 - 08:36 PM) But I found out his son is adopted
RANGA+  : (24 May 2013 - 08:37 PM) oh nice
Bay  : (24 May 2013 - 08:37 PM) Franco Harris is at the Pens game, niice
