Yup. I forgot to update you guys after surgery, but I think they fixed the problem entirely.

It turns out there was something else wrong, apparently a small piece of bone had fractured off of my spine and was... floating around in there. Eesh. That's why I kept having spikes of pain.

Also we're in the finals in b-ball. :)

Me and my squad won a 3 on 3 double elimination basketball tournment. We lost to my friends team who went undefeated at the time and we had to play in the loser bracket to face my friends team again. Beat the loser team, then had to beat my friends team TWICE to win it all. We won trophies and money. Beast.

Got an offer to do some announcing for a semi pro football team in August. It isn't paid but it's only two games and will be great for my resume. As long as the dates don't clash with anything I'm thinking I'll do it.

The cost of quality guitars went way up when gas went way up. It sucked. Ibanez, which is one of the best brands for heavy music like I used to play, used to offer quality instruments for less than 500 bucks. Now if you spend less than $500 on a guitar, you're probably not getting a performance model, or even close to it.

The other day I found out that I don't need to have a perfect GPA in order to pursue my dream of attending grad school for an MFA in Creative Writing, hoping to eventually land a job as a professor. :)
