Me and Zack have decided to put our..er...sig and avatar space where our mouths are, and instead of us just arguing about whether CJ is still an elite back, we're gonna do this. I feel CJ will return to elite form. Zack disagrees. This is what the terms will be:

The conditions(Zack set these):

Quote

To "return to form" I'd say that he has to have at least 1,200 yards and right around 5.0 YPC and somewhere around 10 TDs. I'd be willing to call it a wash if he's not quite up to par (say he ends with 4.8 YPC or some shit with 9 TDs).

The punishment if wrong:

Quote

Loser has to wear avatar and sig of winner's choice from the end of the regular season til the start of the draft.

Anyone else wanna jump in against me on this? What I'll do is take an embarrassing CJ picture(or whatever you guys choose) and you guys can all type something on the image and I'll wear at.

Don't be a pussy, join in. Don't let Zack be the only person with a set of balls :nope:

So he has to have 1200 yards, 10 TDs, AND 5.0 YPC? That's too many conditions to meet. I would say 1200 yards and 8TDs would be back to form. The dude does have Steve Hutchinson blocking for him, and every single runningback who has run behind Hutchinson has gone fucking bonkers (even Maurice Morris). I think he will have a successful season. You're fucked, Zack.

While Hutch is a big upgrade to the pathetic interior offensive line, he's not exactly the HOF, mauling offensive guard he once was...you're being a little too generous towards him.

Your mom still sucks.

CJ's well on his way to beating this bet after leading the NFL in rushing since week 4. :yep:

Actually at his current pace through 7 games of the year by week 14 he'd only have about a 1000 yards. Keep in mind he gained 195 yards against the dogshit Bills, which elevates his YPC to 4.5 for the year. Take that Bills game out of the picture (because they can't stop a nosebleed) and his best game is 141 yards vs the Texans. Which is sensible. So doing a little math here...

Chris Johnson's YPC average when he's not playing the Buffalo Bills is 3.27 YPC with 0 TD's. Not something that's going to get it done down the stretch.

What happened to the worst Oline in history? Oh ya.. they look a lot better when CJ is actually decisive and doesn't dance around behind the LOS.

I think that excuse is finally worn out. CJ can be good if he wants to, worst line or not.

Over the past 4 weeks he's had 77 carries, 451 yards, 5.8 ypc and 2 TDs.

And he would have 3 extra TDs added to that if it wasn't for Jamie Harper taking the carries on the goal line..but as a Titan fan I'd rather let Harper take the beatings and just allow CJ to run free in the open field. Even if it in the long run means me losing this sig bet because CJ doesn't get the goal line TDs, it'll mean a more successful Titans offense.

Even if you take out his game vs Buffalo, he's at 59 carries, 256 yards, 4.3 ypc. And if you subtract his game vs Minnesota(since we're taking out his best game, why not take out his worst as well?) it's at 44 carries, 232 yards, 5.2 ypc against Houston and Pittsburgh.

The offensive line deserves a lot of credit for the last 4 weeks as well, they've really stepped their game up, opening some good holes for CJ. Hopefully they and CJ both can continue this good run.

The 49ers offense had a record setting day against the Bills defense. Don't get too excited. :nope:

dutchff7  : (20 May 2013 - 11:37 PM) Those loses are well behind me; as long as I don't think about it too hard.
dutchff7  : (20 May 2013 - 11:38 PM) The only thing that really bothers me at this point is thinking about McNabb throwing up / getting sick in the super bowl.
dutchff7  : (20 May 2013 - 11:39 PM) Like really?... In the biggest game of your life... for real??... Whatever...getting frustrated already
dutchff7  : (20 May 2013 - 11:40 PM) That's some soft shit... No heart
Favre4Ever+  : (20 May 2013 - 11:44 PM) Eh... I don't get over loses quickly..
Favre4Ever+  : (20 May 2013 - 11:45 PM) Last season wasn't so bad because it was a rape fest... but Bert throwing that INT in the NFCCG against the Giants at Lambeau. OMG. Kill me now. The OT loss to Zona was pretty fucking shitty too
RANGA+  : (20 May 2013 - 11:45 PM) JD is still mad about Bert :yep:
Bucman  : (20 May 2013 - 11:46 PM) Was he puking because of nerves or because he actually had the flu?
RANGA+  : (20 May 2013 - 11:46 PM) ^ lolllll i was partly joking :shifty:
Favre4Ever+  : (20 May 2013 - 11:46 PM) Dmac has always been soft
Favre4Ever+  : (20 May 2013 - 11:46 PM) He gets offended by the stupidest shit
Favre4Ever+  : (20 May 2013 - 11:46 PM) I also think he secretly hates being black
dutchff7  : (20 May 2013 - 11:47 PM) Nerves
Favre4Ever+  : (20 May 2013 - 11:47 PM) In his prime, it was hella fun to watch him play. But I am not a fan of him as a person, and I hate watching him try to be an analyst. He sucks
dutchff7  : (20 May 2013 - 11:47 PM) Mcnabb is so insecure
dutchff7  : (20 May 2013 - 11:47 PM) He wants to be loved so bad and it shows and it's so fucking annoying. i appreciate the good times we did have with him as our QB but I never really liked Mcnabb
Bucman  : (20 May 2013 - 11:48 PM) McNabb was Ronde Barber's bitch
Bucman  : (20 May 2013 - 11:48 PM) Barber had so many good plays that came against McNabb
dutchff7  : (20 May 2013 - 11:48 PM) Like/dislike feeling when it came to him. He didn't reach me like other popular eagles players like a Dawkins or Westbrook despite his *success.
RANGA+  : (20 May 2013 - 11:50 PM) mcnabb was always a bit strange
monstersofth...  : (20 May 2013 - 11:50 PM) So he puked because he was nervous about playing in the biggest game of his life.
dutchff7  : (20 May 2013 - 11:50 PM) I remember when McNabb was bashing RG3 saying he would never be successful in Shanahans scheme. His bitter ass was only saying that because he stunk it up in washington. Then during the season he was slobbing all over RG3. Makes me sick
monstersofth...  : (20 May 2013 - 11:50 PM) big fucking deal lol.
dutchff7  : (20 May 2013 - 11:51 PM) There's no "so" about puking in the biggest game of your life. Get your shit together and step up. No time for that soft shit. real leaders breathe fire and step up to the plate. not throw up their guts
dutchff7  : (20 May 2013 - 11:52 PM) No resolve whatsoever
monstersofth...  : (20 May 2013 - 11:52 PM) people handle things differently.
dutchff7  : (20 May 2013 - 11:52 PM) Yall done got me started. That shit pisses me off so bad when I really start to think / talk about it
dutchff7  : (20 May 2013 - 11:52 PM) yeah, he handled it like a pussy
monstersofth...  : (20 May 2013 - 11:52 PM) If he would of won this would be a non issue.
RANGA+  : (20 May 2013 - 11:53 PM)
Bucman  : (20 May 2013 - 11:53 PM) If he puked and won the SB it would be a nonissue lol
RANGA+  : (20 May 2013 - 11:53 PM) but he didnt win
RANGA+  : (20 May 2013 - 11:53 PM) thats the thing
RANGA+  : (20 May 2013 - 11:53 PM) so thats a retarded argument
Bucman  : (20 May 2013 - 11:53 PM) get outta my mind :shifty:
dutchff7  : (20 May 2013 - 11:53 PM) Ofcourse it would be a non issue. Duh lol
monstersofth...  : (20 May 2013 - 11:55 PM) but yet you guys lost and everyone is on his ass because he puked? lmao.
dutchff7  : (21 May 2013 - 12:00 AM) Yep. You can't show signs of weakness in the biggest game of your life and then lose on top of that.
monstersofth...  : (21 May 2013 - 12:00 AM) He showed weakness by throwing 2 ints at that point and getting sacked 4 times.
monstersofth...  : (21 May 2013 - 12:05 AM) I feel bad for Mcnabb I really do. for years he had absolute trash as his wide outs and kept the eagles competitve.
dutchff7  : (21 May 2013 - 12:10 AM) Yeah and when he finally got the elite receiver we all wished for, we went to the superbowl and he was throwing up.
monstersofth...  : (21 May 2013 - 12:12 AM) spoiled fans are spoiled. lol
dutchff7  : (21 May 2013 - 12:12 AM) I'm not spoiled. I wish I was. We would have a lombardi by now
monstersofth...  : (21 May 2013 - 12:13 AM) and its a shame that most people will remember him that way.
dutchff7  : (21 May 2013 - 12:15 AM) I spoke on it in the Mcnabb HoF thread. I gave my appreciation and gratitude for the *success we did have, but I didn't shy away from the bad and missed opportunities.
JetsFan4Life  : (21 May 2013 - 12:19 AM) Came home and we're using the Central Air again :megusta:
