Best chance for worst to first?

I am going with the Chiefs. They have a division in which no one team really stands out to take it, they will be getting a lot of guys back who were hurt last year and have a new HC who I like in Romeo Crennel.

they have a good shot at being plus 500 if Blaine steps his game up.
Because they didn't finish last in their respective division. Believe it or not, there was a team worse than the Jaguars in the AFC South last season.
Dumbass.

My choice is the Rams and/or Cardinals. Im not sold that the division will go to the 49ers, and if the Rams can stay healthy, they can compete.

The Bills and Redskins would be the other teams that I think would have a decent shot at it. The Browns, Colts, Rams and Vikings are a big stretch, and the Bucs are an enigma coated in secret sauce.

At least the Chiefs won a fairly high number of games with the injuries they suffered.
The Bucs defense last year was one of the absolute worst in the NFL... And while there always seems to be a defense going from worst to top 5 top 10, I don't see that being the Bucs. They didn't make enough moves in the offseason, and arguably their best player on defense (McCoy) has yet to of played a full season.
IMO, the Falcons have the best chance of dethroning the Saints.

I think it's more because the NFC South >>>>> the AFC West.
I think the Bucs will be good this year too, but all four of the NFCS teams are probably going to be at least decent.
Whereas the Chiefs were in last place, yes, but they were only a game out of first.

I'm not saying Cam will not hit a sophomore slump, but history actually shows the opposite of what you're suggesting.
Quote
To determine if the Sophomore Slump exists I analyzed data from pro-football-reference.com of quarterbacks over the past 20 years who threw for at least 2,500 yards in their rookie season and retained their starting position in their second year (data here). In all, 12 quarterbacks met these criteria.
As a whole, these 12 quarterbacks saw noticeable statistical improvement in their second seasons when compared to their rookie years:
1st Year Average: QB Rating - 75, Yards/Gm - 196, Completions - 58%, Interceptions - 3.6%
2nd Year Average: QB Rating - 84, Yards/Gm - 213, Completions - 59%, Interceptions - 2.6%
On average, rookie quarterbacks who retained their starting roles for their entire sophomore years (which Newton and Dalton will likely do) improved upon their QR rating, yards per game, completion percentage, and threw fewer interceptions.
(Note: Chris Weinke and Matt Leinart threw for more than 2,500 yards as rookies but did not retain their starting roles in Year 2 and are therefore not included in the above analysis.)
Sophomore Slump? More like "Sophomore Surge"

I definitely think the Bucs will be better, but they've got too much competition for me to think they'll win the division, I'd call the NFCS a toss up at this point, but I'd go as far as to call the Chiefs the favorites in the AFCW
