Predicting the Elite: Rush Offense

With that being said, first topic is rush offense. Who has the best rushing attack in the NFL?
My vote goes to the Panthers. They were already good last year with the duo of Stewart and Williams and this off-season they added Mike Tolbert. Not to mention, they have a very mobile QB in Cam Newton. Their rushing game should be insane this year as long as everyone gets the carries that they deserve.

Carolina already had the #3 or #1 rushing attack in the NFL last year, (depending if you go Yds/Game or YPA), and now we're adding another piece to the backfield with Mike Tolbert. We have three backs that could all be #1 RBs, plus a mobile QB who will probably get 400-500 yards even with his rushes being hopefully slowed a bit.

I'll take the Texans. Didn't really consider Newton with the Panthers, but with him I still take Texans and Panthers second. A little San Fran at third

I like DeMarco Murray but no way does Dallas have a better rushing attack than the Texans. I think Murray and Felix Jones has the potential to be a great 1-2 punch, but Jones is always hurt.

No Peters but we started 2 rookies last year who should play better last year. Bell is a solid replacement for Peters too. That and we still have the best offensive line coach in the NFL who got Peters to play at his best.

However, I'm still not counting out my boys in this one. Hillis is better than the post Jets Thomas Jones, and if—BIG if—Charles comes back in 2010 form, the Chiefs are almost a lock here, especially after signing on of the best RTs in the game. With TJ getting just as many carries as Charles in 2010, the Chiefs were head and shoulders above everyone in YPG and YPC. Replace the aged Jones with a hungry Hillis, who has something to prove, and look out NFL.
Charles is still young enough that I don't foresee any problems for Charles in his rehab. That being said, everyone responds to injuries differently.

I think Murray blows up this year. Texans run game is nice but i just dont think itll be the leading rushing attack is all. I would of picked Chiefs, but Charles has a ACL injury so idk if he will be 100%. Add Hillis in there psh.

Big ups to BK for team bar

Agreed. Was deciding between a couple teams but Newton puts Carolina over the top, IMO.

Panthers (pretty obvious)
Philly (again obvious IF Vick plays more than half the season)
and....Washington
Yeah I know it sounds Crazy but Shanny finds a 1000 yard rushing game out of think air. I mean last year injuries decimated them but Roy Helu was running well, so was Tim hightower. andd thne throw in RG 3 being a rokkie and going to panic and go to what he does well when his options are not open. The game is going to be fast for him and he wont be able to work through his progressions as a pro yet. So he will run and he is talented at it.
Mobile QBs give you so much of a boost when they are mobile in terms of total yardage. even if you have an 80 yard running day out of your RB and your QB picks up 40 you still have a good day on the ground.
Now if we are going RB, I am going to say.
Ravens
Texans
Eagles
the first two could swap depending on how well we get out LG spot figured out.
The jags will be up there again because they will just feed MJD but I dont know if he can sustain that 350+ carry workload and still be as explosive
and Shady really need no introduction either.
