Damn, I don't know what happened to Mark Cuban's passion for his team. Went from building a championship roster to letting it crumble in front of him. Guess its back to being in the middle of the pack in the West with Dirk carrying the load.

I don't think it was lack of passion by Cuban. I think he just overestimated his ability to get Deron Williams. If knew Williams would stay in new jersey, I'm positive he would've re-signed chandler

He thought he would end up with Deron. With it being his hometown and having a better chance to win, I can't blame him. But I think Deron wanted the money in Brooklyn.

If the Nets can't find a way to get Howard. They should try to make moves for Dirk....

Per Rotoworld.com:

Quote

Jason Quick of the Oregonian reported Thursday that Brandon Roy has agreed to a two-year, $10.4 million deal with the Wolves.
If Roy's knee is miraculously rehabbed it will be a heart-warming story, but fans and fantasy owners alike should expect the worst and hope for the best. A 10-15 minute role off the bench is probably perfect, but this offer suggests that the Wolves think he can contribute much, much more. They may be completely crazy, but that's what they did. If we sense that he's going to be given a heavier load, we might give him more fantasy attention but for now he's hands off. Jul 5 - 10:28 PM

_______________

Per Rotoworld.com:

Quote

Restricted free agent Nicolas Batum agreed to a four-year, $45 million offer sheet made by the Wolves on Thursday.
The AP reports that the bonuses could push the deal past $50 million and also that Batum wants to go to Minnesota. This is interesting, because all of Portland's media has poo-pooed the reports that Batum wanted to leave and most of the nationwide discourse has echoed that sentiment, as well. Now the Blazers have the right to match, and that too has been written as a foregone conclusion by the folks covering the story up close. Stay tuned. Jul 5 - 11:44 PM

T-Wolves are stacking up. They are added depth to an already talented roster. The loss of Beasley means loss of offensive firepower but with a healthy Rubio to Love combo next season, they will be players in the West.

The day Deron had his meeting with the Mavs, Cuban was off working on a new TV show hes working on about Sharks. I'm sorry but if I'm the owner of my team and as polarizing a figure as he is, I make sure I make the time to meet face to face with a potential superstar that I'm courting.

Too bad Batum is unlikely to actually end up in Minnesota and Roy has no knees.

Beat writer Gary Washburn reported that a deal between Jeff Green and the Celtics could be done by Wednesday, and a source for SI.com's Sam Amick believes that a deal will be in the four-year, $40 million range.
"I’m confident it’ll get done," Falk told SI.com. "I guess they got (Brandon) Bass' (contract) done, which is great. Jeff is trying to get a sense of what the team looks like first before he makes a commitment, but I expect he’ll be there and I expect it’ll be done by the 11th (when the free agency moratorium ends). We’ve gotten a lot of interest from other teams. But as far as Boston, we’re very confident we’ll get it done." Nothing we have heard suggests that won't be the case.

I'm glad to see Green's heart issues have been resolved. All reports I've read say hes not only healthy but feeling "better than ever". However, I didn't think he was much of an asset to us when he was here and $10M a year for him seems a bit high, IMO.

With Brandon Bass back on board, Green would be coming off the bench which is perfect for the type of player he is.

Supposedly, the Lakers have told a player that he could be traded for Dwight Howard any day now. If true, it is probably MWP or Steve Blake since Bynum is kind of a no brainer and those are the other two names that pop up all the time.

Man, I absolutely love this Boston roster. I hope they can still resign Pietrus, as well, and especially if Allen leaves.

Mark Cuban MAKES The Shark Tank. One of my favorite shows... And Mark Cuban is HILARIOUS.

The show is a group of investors (in which Mark Cuban is one), and then they have a bunch of inventors come onto the show who try to pitch their product / ideas and try to get one of the "Sharks" (Investor) to help fund for this particular invention / product / service.

Mark Cuban is the bomb.

EDITED: Different video, this one has the entire presentation of I Want To Draw a Cat For You

Rumors are popping up. Ive heard since we got Nash we are looking to sign free agents to stack up and keep the core of the team intact. Then ive heard well since Nash has been traded to LA, that would make Dwight want to be a Laker. Well either way im happy. Lakers pulled something out of what seemed to be a upcomin bad offseason. Dwight would give us defense inside. And since wed prob keep Gasol, Dwight would have on on ones more. It would basically be, get beat inside with Pau and Dwight, or outside with Nash and Kobe.

Jason Kidd is a Knickerbocker
Jeremy Lin is a Rocket
Brandon Roy is a Wolf

Wtf busy offseason. I like it, but only if the Pacers make some moves. Hibbert is going to be a Blazer by off-seasons end. Collin Cowherd said that Harden should go to Indiana, which would be pretty damn awesome, but it's never going to happen.

Yup.... It looks like Steve Nash is going to try his hardest to recruit Grant Hill to LA as well. Not sure if LA is going to want Grant Hill or not, but it is probably at least fairly likely. I love me some Grant Hill, even if he is 50 years old. It would be nice to see the two together in LA.

LA would welcome him. They would give him the sixth man. Itd keep him healthy. He would contribute off the bench, something we REALLY need. Jamison would prob sign too, he was in for a visit. Jamison would start then Hill come off the bench?

I think if this trade does go down it will be

Bynum, McRoberts, Metta
FOR
Dwight and Jrich/or Hedo

You guys asking for Hedo would be retarded, Jason Richardson is a much better addition.

Trust me i bet we want J Rich more, bcuz i know i do. But Magic stated that we need to take one of them to clear their contract. J Rich would be better off the bench then starting Hedo.

blotsfan  : (21 May 2013 - 04:32 PM) yeah. i had to go to a stupid meeting that was clearly designed for freshman
blotsfan  : (21 May 2013 - 04:32 PM) kinda made me feel shitty
blotsfan  : (21 May 2013 - 04:32 PM) and i had to take a stupid quiz

BenJarvus Gr...  : (21 May 2013 - 04:32 PM) lol my school doesn't enforce that kind of BS
BenJarvus Gr...  : (21 May 2013 - 04:33 PM) only thing was that you had to register for classes with an academic advisor
blotsfan  : (21 May 2013 - 04:35 PM) at my school thats normally a thing, but in the engineering school everyone has to do that
blotsfan  : (21 May 2013 - 04:35 PM) (annoying as hell btw)
BenJarvus Gr...  : (21 May 2013 - 04:35 PM) that sucked since you couldn't take the time personally to look over classes and search the profs on ratemyprofessor.com lol
blotsfan  : (21 May 2013 - 04:36 PM) oh, i dont know how your school is, but you can make a "wishlist" at mine

blotsfan  : (21 May 2013 - 04:38 PM) thats weird then
blotsfan  : (21 May 2013 - 04:39 PM) i figured that small schools would want the personal interaction
BenJarvus Gr...  : (21 May 2013 - 04:39 PM) there's literally 20,000+ students at my CC
blotsfan  : (21 May 2013 - 04:39 PM) but mizzou has like 35k people so they dont really have the time
blotsfan  : (21 May 2013 - 04:39 PM) holy shit thats a big community college
BenJarvus Gr...  : (21 May 2013 - 04:40 PM) yeah, it's the 2nd biggest school in NJ behind Rutgers
blotsfan  : (21 May 2013 - 04:40 PM) the buffalo area community college has 3 campuses that dont add up to that many people
.AirMcNair.  : (21 May 2013 - 05:08 PM) Steve McNair and Jeff Fisher combined for 76 wins, the 9th highest in NFL history for a QB/Coach tandem. Higher than Walsh/Montana, Holmgren/Favre and Dungy/Manning. Belichick/Brady have the most of all time, have 20 more wins than Shula and Marino.
.AirMcNair.  : (21 May 2013 - 05:09 PM) Reid and McNabb combined for 92, 5th most all time...pretty impressive
Zack_of_Steel+  : (21 May 2013 - 05:12 PM) If anyone sees Bucman will you tell him he's up in the All-Time Draft?
Zack_of_Steel+  : (21 May 2013 - 05:13 PM) You should draft McNabb as your backup QB
Ngata_Chance  : (21 May 2013 - 05:15 PM) You should draft Kyl Boller as your starting QB
.AirMcNair.  : (21 May 2013 - 05:15 PM) I've already got my backup QB big board set up :yep:
.AirMcNair.  : (21 May 2013 - 05:16 PM) Ryan Leaf just slightly beating out JaMarcus Russell for #1
.AirMcNair.  : (21 May 2013 - 05:16 PM) Vince Young at #3 :yep:
Bay  : (21 May 2013 - 05:16 PM) You mean Kyle Bloller?
Ngata_Chance  : (21 May 2013 - 05:16 PM) Yes.
Ngata_Chance  : (21 May 2013 - 05:17 PM) No actually I was right. He birth name was Kyl, when he tried to throw on the "E" it got intercepted.
Ngata_Chance  : (21 May 2013 - 05:18 PM) I still think Jamarcus Russel was the biggest draft bust ever.
Bay  : (21 May 2013 - 05:19 PM) Lets do a current players draft only next
Zack_of_Steel+  : (21 May 2013 - 05:24 PM) Russell was not the biggest draft bust ever
Zack_of_Steel+  : (21 May 2013 - 05:25 PM) Russell's 2008 season was similar to Flacco's, when everyone was lauding Flacco.
Zack_of_Steel+  : (21 May 2013 - 05:25 PM) Nobody had the career that Leaf did, especially as such a highly touted player
