I hate DeSean Jackson, but I think he should be 1 tier higher.
I think Brandon Lloyd should be at least 1 tier higher, if not 2.

As for Julio I didn't include him because... well I forgot about him. Roddy seems the obvious person to take the most targets for the Falcons. If I did have to Julio on here though, maybe around 20, dunno if reliable number 1 fits his title, but those are the group of guys I think he'd be closest to.

Wes Welker is a statistical phenomenon, but he can't play the #1 spot and run vertical routes and be as effective.

I think DeSean is between reliable and questionable. He's been known to disappear when teams take away the deep ball but he opens up our offense so much just because of his speed and when he decides he wants to show up he can take over games, but based on his showing last year and his concussion history I think Razor might be right. It could change if he has his head in the game this year but as it stands I think he's about in the right spot.

Thanks to DMac, badgers, and SE for the sig graphics

I cant tell if this is serious or not, but if it is...
On what planet? lol Manningham is an ok talent, but he runs the wrong routes constantly, has no idea what to do during a QB scramble, drops way too many balls that should be caught (and not only drop them, but has a tendency to tip them straight up in the air for a DB to snatch), and has a below average work ethic.
He benefited emmensely in 09 and 10 with all the attention going to Hakeem Nicks, and was left to face teams #3 guy this year with the emergence of Cruz.
Manningham is nothing more than an average #2 or a good #3 WR....Dont get me wrong Ill always appreciate the grabs he made in both the NFCCG and the Superbowl, but imagine yourself sitting there watching that final drive saying "wow I cant believe he caught that and got his feet in"...where as a Giant fan was saying "WOW ARE YOU FUCKIN KIDDING ME, I CANT BELIEVE THAT DUMB ASS CAUGHT THAT!!" lol

This thread makes Percy Harvin sad, thus giving him migraines... Seriously he is WAY TOO LOW on this list.

Andre Johnson belongs in god tier. Last year he was ranked #7 in the top 100; one injured season doesn't take slide him out of the tier of Larry and Megatron. Dude is still a beast.
Mike Wallace should be a tier down. One of the top WR in the league but wouldn't say he's elite yet.
Roddy White belongs in elite tier. I don't know why ppl underrate Roddy so much. He had a few dropped balls last year but he is still a major threat. He is one of the most consistent WR in the league. He has 5 consecutive 1,000 yard seasons and two back to back 100 reception seasons. That's elite.
Santana Moss as a reliable #1; word on the street is he may not even be starting come this season. He only had 500ish yards last season.
Brandon Lloyd can move up. I think he can be reliable #1 but he's definitely at least in questionable range.
Jeremy Maclin can can be moved to reliable #1.
True Number 1 tier: Wes Welker and Victor Cruz.. It's a lot of categories here.. It depends on ppls definition of a true number 1 receiver. I consider a true #1 receiver being able to line up anywhere on the field; but mainly on the outside. Wes Welker and Victor CruZ are slot receivers. Granted, you can't argue with Wes Welkers consistent outstanding production (and Victors 1 great year), but he just doesn't match the definition to me. With that said, Welkers consistent production outmatches more then probably 95% of the league.

Steve Smith being elite is a hard pill for me to swallow. Great receivers can elevate any bad QB so can't always use that excuse.
We already talked about Julio being forgotten. So other than that I can dig it.

If Megatron, a healthy AJ, or Fitzy was being thrown to by Jimmy Clausen, they would have had better numbers than Smitty. Not as good as normal, of course, but better.
Any other WR in the league would have had worse or the same numbers being thrown to by Clausen.
Smitty has been consistently putting up great numbers with Jake Delhomme as his QB. Now, Delhomme used to be a good QB, but not an elite one. He's where he should be, as far as tiers go.

The thing about that comment is the topic isn't about who will be elite for the next 5 years; neither who would you rather draft (longevity) Don't quote me but I assume it's about last year. Steve Smith was a top 5 WR (maybe not for long) last season. Last year he was back in form with a more then competent QB throwing him the ball. Now, I'm not saying he will be next year (because age does come into question) but his most recent performance makes him a top 5 WR. The film don't lie. He's a beast.

Ok well not saying he isn't a beast, but seeing as we are talking about this upcoming season and not last might point still stands it will be hard for me to call him an elite talent this season
