SteVo+ 3,702 Posted July 17, 2012 http://www.isidewith.com/presidential-election-quiz I've taken a lot of quizzes similar to this, but I found this one to be really helpful. The questions are presented in a concise way, and when you get your results, they are compared to the political stances of all major nominees for President this fall (not just Obama/Romney). I know many here on TGP are politically active and have a good idea of where they stand, and that's fantastic, but this is still a fun quiz if nothing else, and it only takes five minutes. My results: Ron Paul - 93% Gary Johnson - 89% Mitt Romney - 79% Jimmy McMillan - 72% Virgil Goode - 56% Jill Stein - 54% Barack Obama - 43% Stewart Alexander - 16% Florida Voters - 86% American Voters - 82%

Vin+ 3,121 Posted July 18, 2012 (edited) Interesting how much the "importance" slider changes things, though my #1 stayed the same in both. Without sliders: Romney: (on economic, domestic policy, foreign policy, healthcare, and science issues.) - 90% Johnson: (on economic, immigration, healthcare, and social issues.) - 74% Paul: (on economic and healthcare issues.) - 69% Obama: (on domestic policy and immigration issues.) - 69% Goode: (on healthcare issues.) - 43% McMillan: (on economic issues) - 39% Stein: (no major issues) - 28% Alexander: (no major issues) - 19% 69% of Americans on economic and domestic policy. 90% Repub - 71% Libertarian - 69% Dem - 28% Green With sliders: Romney (on economic, domestic policy, healthcare, foreign policy, science, and social issues) - 93% Obama: (on domestic policy and immigration issues) - 66% Johnson: (on economic and immigration issues.) - 64% Paul: (on economic issues) - 61% Goode: (on healthcare issues) - 43% McMillan: (on economic issues) - 27% Stein: (no major issues) - 24% Alexander: (no major issues) - 18% 62% of Americans on economic and domestic policy 93% Repub - 66% Dem - 63% Libertarian - 24% Green Edited July 18, 2012 by Vin

SteVo+ 3,702 Posted July 18, 2012 Looks like Gary Johnson is the most recurring name in everyone top-3. I'm not at all surprised to see that. Libertarianism is prevalent among the younger generation, and will probably take over right-wing politics as social conservatism fades away.
