Yep. When you think MVP at least for me I think what would that team (in the sports sense) be without that player. I can say with confidence without any of those four people TGP would either a) not be near what it is today or b) not exist at all

Stevo, you have nine awards stated in your post but only eight up for vote.

I think you missed the David Harris award on this ballot.

You are...completely correct, sir. I think adding another award may mess up the current voting, so I'll just have to make another thread. Stay tuned.

EDIT: Nevermind, the David Harris award has been added. Unfortunately, we all have to re-do our votes in order to cast a vote for it, but it should only take 10-15 seconds. My apologies for the mess-up.

Lot of good candidates for these awards. Glad to see BLUE and Vin are rocking the votes for best moderator, they're definitely more level headed then I am. I had a brutal time choosing which one should get the vote though. I also had a hard time choosing between JD and Steven for MVP. It's like do I choose the guy who does a lot for this board behind the scenes, especially financially. Or the guy who makes offseasons so fun. Even though his top 50 films left on an awful note, it was still a very good idea, so I went with Steven. I don't think I can explain all my votes, but every guy on the ballot deserves to be there, even if you are getting blown out in your polls. TGP wouldn't run without each and every one of you contributing to the community. Thanks for doing these up Steven and DMac.

Pretty surprised, but it feels good to be nominated for such prestigious awards, especially when looking at others in the two categories.

Oh, and I wasn't around really when the nominations were going on, or I'd have nominated you for funniest, blots.

Also I push that the person who gets the least votes in underrated user wins. Because they are by definition the msot underrated user on the poll. <_<

While I agree that TGP would not be the same place without any of the four who are nominated for MVP, I think you could say that about several other members as well. Most importantly, though, I think the core of TGP has grown so strong that it can survive without any one or two members. So I'm with Zack's line of thinking in that it's an extreme honor just to be nominated and receiving votes. Thanks, guys.

I'd contend that each of the three are equally underrated and that our votes are going to which member of the group deserves "underrated" status least.

My first time ever seeing this post. Didn't know you guys did this type of stuff. Don't think I should have qualified for new poster with me barely being here a month at that time. Surprised that Thanatos wasn't in MVP or knowledgeable category. He is one of the best knowledgeable and level headed posters along with F4E imo. Definitely shouldn't be underrated.

It's a tad early, but we can probably start compiling what awards we want to include. Unless we're keeping everything the same.
