Olympic Subforum?

any chance of adding an Olympic Subforum in the 'Other Sports' section? I have a feeling there will be enough discussion to merit it, but I'm not sure what would happen with it after the Olympics and would understand if that's enough of a catching point

Considering the main part of the "other sports" subforum is perpetually dead, I don't see why its neccesary. If anything, we need less subforums there, not more. Maybe keep baseball, basketball, and hockey.

Yeah, we could really convert the other sports' (Yes, even my beloved soccer football) forums into their own topics.

Keep the three sports blots suggested as subforums and create official topics for the rest of them.

fair enough, I think there probably are more arguments against adding a subforum there than there are for it (I thought about the inactivity of the overall forum as I was posting this) but it probably is worth taking a look at that section (which we've tweaked a lot)

another idea, if we're going to contract, would be adding symbols on the 'post icons' with symbols for the subforums we're removing, not sure if that makes sense, but there you go

yeah, that's kinda what I was thinking, if they're included as 'post icons' then they'll show up in the forum so you'll know what the thread is about without opening it even if it's not in the title
