Isn't this... kinda backasswards?

You penalize the Giant's duo saying that Cruz just had an anomaly of a season, and won't be able to reproduce at the rate he did last year.

But then, as your reasoning to why the Packers are better, you make Nelson's huge season seem like it was no biggie, and expected? And we should expect him to play at that level for a while even though his whole career up to last season had been the complete opposite?

You're right I'm sorry I didn't mention that I am not expecting Nelson to have as good of a year as last year.

Like Cruz, I think Nelson will lower his RecYards and TD numbers next year, where Jennings will pick up the slack and their combo will beat out Nicks/Cruz.

Julio was looking real good tonight. 109 yards and a great td catch in the 1st quarter. I know it's only the preseason; just saying

After the first two weeks, my opinion is Nicks/Cruz. Nicks is playing with a broken foot, or at least a foot that's in a lot of pain. Yet, he's still putting up huge numbers. Despite the drops week 1 from Cruz, he came back and had a huge game. How do you vote against two guys that both almost hit 200 yards receiving on the same team? They are monsters.

Jennings/insert whoever
Nicks/Cruz
Austin/Bryant
Jones/White
Johnson/Burelson
Jackson/Maclin
Britt/Washington
Johnson/Walter
Wallace/Brown

When it comes to duo WR's these are who come to mind. Alot of could bes here. If Austin and Bryant could stay healthy and focused, i think they could take it. Right now though its tough. Nicks and Cruz is tough but i like Wallace and Brown and Jones and White. Britt would need to be healthy for AT LEAST a year to be considered, but that needs to happen first. Jackson Maclin both are dangerous in their own ways. Hard to say exactly. But for my opinion of it ill go...Jones and White.

Idk, Julio and Roddy White seem to be the best WR tandem to me so far.

Yea, I'd probably go with Julio/White.

My original choice was Jennings/Nelson. Not looking too good.

And I think V-Jax and Mike Williams should at least get an honorable mention. :yep:

Roddy/Julio

When Jordy Nelson is healthy it'll be him and Cobb a close second.

V-Jax and Big Mike are knocking at the door.

Man, Roddy and Julio are trying real hard to prove me wrong. Nicks can't get healthy it seems.

I also (like Kila) am starting to like what I see out of Jackson/Williams. Or rather, starting to be afraid of it. To my surprise, Jackson is one of the top receivers on the season so far. Mike Williams is a physical monster for corners to go up against, especially now that he's dedicated himself to football. It's scary.

BLUE  : (19 June 2013 - 12:06 AM) I curse you for beating me to Zack Wheeler, JD.
BLUE  : (19 June 2013 - 12:06 AM) :p
BLUE  : (19 June 2013 - 12:07 AM) He was a little wild and gave up some walks, but that was to be expected. He was nervous as fuck in the first few innings, but ultimately settled down and had a solid line.
Favre4Ever+  : (19 June 2013 - 12:07 AM) How'd he do tonight?
JetsFan4Life  : (19 June 2013 - 12:07 AM) Hoping the Indians win the series over the Royals tomorrow...just so I can talk shit to John lol.
BLUE  : (19 June 2013 - 12:07 AM) Against the first place Braves in his MLB debut in his hometown, no less.
Favre4Ever+  : (19 June 2013 - 12:07 AM) Heat are going to win Game 7, aren't they... >_>
BLUE  : (19 June 2013 - 12:08 AM) 6.0 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 5 BB, 7 K
BLUE  : (19 June 2013 - 12:08 AM) And the W after our offense finally woke up.
BradyFan81  : (19 June 2013 - 12:08 AM) Manu Ginobili said something like "I'm devastated. I have no idea how we will be energized for Game 7."
Favre4Ever+  : (19 June 2013 - 12:09 AM) Sexy. Walks do suck, but in your first career start against the Braves, you take that shit all day
BradyFan81  : (19 June 2013 - 12:09 AM) so Heat are probably gonna win by 15.
Favre4Ever+  : (19 June 2013 - 12:09 AM) Woot
Favre4Ever+  : (19 June 2013 - 12:09 AM) Manu actually said that?
Socal  : (19 June 2013 - 12:09 AM) Anyone on here a UMiami fan? Ngata is, right?
Favre4Ever+  : (19 June 2013 - 12:09 AM) LMAO. Has he given up already? Jesus dude. lmao
Bay  : (19 June 2013 - 12:09 AM) Giants tie it :smug:
RANGA+  : (19 June 2013 - 12:09 AM) yeh spurs essentially just lost the championship
RANGA+  : (19 June 2013 - 12:10 AM) will take a major fuck up by miami for them to lose now
Favre4Ever+  : (19 June 2013 - 12:10 AM) I thought MIA was going to win tonight, but not like this
Socal  : (19 June 2013 - 12:10 AM) Hate the Giants
Favre4Ever+  : (19 June 2013 - 12:11 AM) I hate both teams though, so, idgaf.
BLUE  : (19 June 2013 - 12:11 AM) Yeah, I expected some walks. He was soooo nervous early on. Breathing hard, fidgeting between pitches. But he ultimately settled down and did more than enough to secure his first MLB win. Thankfully our offense woke the fuck up late in the game and was able to give it to him.
Favre4Ever+  : (19 June 2013 - 12:12 AM) Ya, that's expected to some degree. So no hate here. Kinda worried about him, but glad it worked out... Worked out verrrrry nicely :D
Favre4Ever+  : (19 June 2013 - 12:12 AM) I am just mad Sarge got Cole before me... If I could have had them both... Damn it. lol
RANGA+  : (19 June 2013 - 12:12 AM) i just dont wanna see the heat win again
RANGA+  : (19 June 2013 - 12:13 AM) makes me wanna puke
BLUE  : (19 June 2013 - 12:13 AM) You can always drop him if it worries you. :D
Favre4Ever+  : (19 June 2013 - 12:13 AM) I want to see the Heat trade away Wade and Bosh
Favre4Ever+  : (19 June 2013 - 12:13 AM) Ehh, I will suffer. Haha. Thanks for your concern though Blue
Favre4Ever+  : (19 June 2013 - 12:13 AM) ;)
BLUE  : (19 June 2013 - 12:14 AM) His walk rates weren't bad in the minors though, in all seriousness. He was just amped up and full of adrenaline for tonight.
BradyFan81  : (19 June 2013 - 12:14 AM) those fans don't deserve that teams
BradyFan81  : (19 June 2013 - 12:14 AM) how mad are Spurs fans right now though?
BLUE  : (19 June 2013 - 12:15 AM) And Harvey dominated in the first game. Best double-header ever. :yep:
Bay  : (19 June 2013 - 12:15 AM) There's still some good pitchers to be had ;)
BLUE  : (19 June 2013 - 12:15 AM) We're still miles away, but please be good Harvey and Wheeler.
Socal  : (19 June 2013 - 12:16 AM) Fuck Dale Thayer GDIAF
Favre4Ever+  : (19 June 2013 - 12:18 AM) I'd just think it would be awesome for the Heat to tell Wade to fuck off because they want to rebuild with Lebron. Ha
Favre4Ever+  : (19 June 2013 - 12:18 AM) Although, I dunno why Lebron would want to do that.
