Offensively if we're going to make a run our MVP has to be Michael Vick. If he's not our MVP then it'll be McCoy and if that's the case we'll probably miss the playoffs again.

Defensively I think DeMeco Ryans won't be our best player, but he'll be very key for us. He's our only true veteran at LB. He'll be calling the signals and he'll also have to be a big physical presence at the line of scrimmage with us running that 9 technique up front.

Offense: Jake Locker--I think he ends up winning the camp battle based on the upside and if we go anywhere we'll need good QB play

Defense: Alterraun Verner--he's the reason I didn't mind seeing Finnegan go, he's got the instincts to play inside in the nickel and with the way offenses operate now that's an essential piece of the defense

Offense: Mike Vick

Defense: Juan Castillo (Defense Coordinator)

I was inclined to choose Demeco at 1st; but when I look back at our defense during the 2nd half of the season, particularly the last 4 games, we did great even with with the linebacker core that we had. Our defense played great and helped us finish 8th in the league. OUr guys began to gel & get accustomed to the scheme and did great.

Games like when we played the Patriots PISSED me off when Juan had our defense playing off coverage and Brady was completing those short passes taking what we were giving him all day; picking us apart instead of playing man - man bump coverage like the Steelers had done to beat them 4 weeks prior. Also, the main reason is our red zone defense which has been historically horrible since the passing of Jim Johnson (R.I.P). We need to get better in that area definitely.

Offense: Aaron Rodgers. Obvious

Defense: Tramon Williams. It was between him or Matthews on who will be the most valuable. Tramon Williams will finally be healthy and get to play as aggressive as he did in 2010 when he excelled. The Packers' passrush was horrible last season, with some new guys in the front 7 and Matthews playing on the right side, the Packers need him to create havoc on the QB's blindside to be successful. Charles Woodson was another guy I thought of but he does great anyways and it's time for somebody else to step up if this defense will revert back to how it was in 2010.

Offense - Matt Ryan has everything at his disposal. The run game, the offensive line a HOF TE and two more than serviceable WideOuts. Get it done Mr. Ryan.

Defense - Sean Weatherspoon

With Lofton and VanGorder gone, he's become the heart and voice of this defense. A young emerging linebacker that plays like a 10 year vet. Nolan is counting on him to step up and is going to put him in the best spot for him to shine.

Offense - Eli Manning. The offense goes as Eli goes, even as shitty as our offensive line was for a LOT of 2011-2012. Also, I don't really know how much I trust them (the offensive line) this upcoming season, lol.

Defense - JPP err, sorry JPP but I'm going to have to go with Justin Tuck on this one. I love JPP, but I still think that Tuck is our best player on defense and even though he wasn't his old self last season, perhaps due to injuries that caused him to miss games, I think he will regain his old versatile form and prove that he's still a top 4-3 DE, and defensive player in general, in the NFL.

Interesting choice. I like the kid but i think Casey will be our MVP on D. Him and Klug were the ones breaking thru getting pressure. We all know when a Dt is dominant, his defense is normally pretty good.
