Not making this pole because I think I know who will, just looking for some insight to the lackluster position for the Steelers this year. This team never abandons the run. They look to have the best OL we've seen from them in a decade if its healthy, so whoever runs away with it will have a hell of a supporting cast. Now the question is, who will it be?

It should be Redman, since he'll be starting the season off as starter, unless Mendenhall has a miracle recovery. This should vault him into being starter for the rest of the season.

Mewelde Moore isn't on the Steelers anymore. He's with the Colts now.
It'll be Redman. I think Mendenhall will take the starting roll once he returns, but Redman will still get his touches and have more production

I voted Mendenhall, assuming he comes back from injury the way he should and has a chance at playing. Mendenhall has shown that he can be one of the better backs in the league if he gets the blocking and the playcalls to do so. Until now, he's had neither, save for a few anomalies over the years.

When is Mendenhall scheduled to return? Has he been cleared yet?

He's been activated off of the PUP list as of this week. Doesn't mean he's ready to play, but it is a good sign.

I've heard anywhere from week 3 to week 6 of the season. Go figure right?
