Turry 755 Posted March 1, 2014 CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports the Dolphins are "gauging trade value" for 2013 No. 3 overall draft pick Dion Jordan. In a deal made by ex-GM Jeff Ireland, Miami sent the Nos. 12 and 42 overall picks to Oakland during last year's draft to land Jordan at No. 3. Fins DC Kevin Coyle, who remains on staff, struggled to find a position fit for Jordan despite freakish athletic tools, as he only played 330 snaps on defense. Jordan's trade value after a disappointing rookie year is unclear, but his contract would be easy to fit under another team's salary cap, and he's a high-ceiling 24-year-old athlete. We suspect he could fetch a second-round pick, even if "giving up" on Jordan after one year would be a spectacular embarrassment to the franchise. Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted March 1, 2014 What? But he is so good on draft day when he just reads announcements off Adam Schefter's twitter account.
Turry 755 Posted March 1, 2014 A Dolphins source is denying a CBS Sports report that the team has interest in trading Mike Wallace, Cameron Wake, and Dion Jordan. The team source denied all three rumors in a Friday conversation with the Miami Herald's Armando Salguero. Salguero trusts the Dolphins official over CBS' Jason La Canfora. It's worth noting, however, that ESPN's Louis Riddick stated Friday he's been aware of the Dolphins' interest in dealing Jordan for "weeks." This story isn't going away. Wallace is the least likely to be dealt because he's owed a ridiculous $15 million base salary in 2014. Source: Miami Herald
CampinWithaMissingPerson 2,025 Posted March 1, 2014 (edited) La Canfora said the Jags would move to London in 5 years a year or two ago as well. Then Khan announced an additional 60 million in stadium upgrades and huge jumbo-trons on top of the other millions he spent on upgrading the locker, weight, and training rooms. After that announcement, his reply on twitter was, "Get back to me in 2023." Classic. Edited March 1, 2014 by CampinWithGoatSampson

Turry 755 Posted April 13, 2014 Philly Mag doesn't believe the Dion Jordan-to-Eagles trade talks are "dead" and thinks OLB/DE Brandon Graham and the No. 22 overall pick would get it done. We don't doubt the 22nd pick in May's draft alone would net the Eagles Jordan. But we do doubt the Eagles would part with the pick in the deal. A report surfaced on Thursday that Philadelphia offered Graham and its second-round pick to Miami in exchange for last year's No. 3 overall pick. Both coach Chip Kelly and vice president of player personnel Tom Gamble are said to "covet" Jordan. CampinWithaMissingPerson 2,025 Posted April 13, 2014 He would be a way better fit in the 3-4 in Philly. I was a little worried about his fit in Miami in their traditional 4-3. Probably the worst scheme for him to play in instead of the 4-3 Under Seattle, Jacksonville, and now Atlanta are running and of course the classic 3-4. SteVo+ 3,702 Posted April 13, 2014 I wouldn't mind bringing Jordan in but I wouldn't want the Eagles to give up the 22nd pick for him. Our 2nd rounder, maybe.
