Was watching "Hey Rookie! Welcome to the NFL" on ESPN2 tonight.

After Bortles comes in with a minute left til halftime and leads a scoring drive with the starters in the third preseason game there's a clip of an exchange on the sideline with him talking to since cut scrub C Mike Brewster, starting FS Winston Guy and since cut WR Chad Bumphis.

Brewster, "You're a hell of a gamer, bro."

 

Guy, "You're zoned in right now.."

 

Bortles, "I just like slingin' it, you gotta make stuff happen sometimes."

 

*ESPN didn't caption Guy's response but it was:

 

Guy, "You special bruh, I'm tellin' you..."

 

Bumphis, "That's what I'm saying bro, that's crazy—Like I ain't never seen somebody just turn it on like that."

 

Bortles, "It's been like that my whole life—I don't *chuckles* Like I suck at practice..."

 

Bumphis, "Naw it's not even that you suck—"
