Dutch 874 Posted July 24, 2014 (edited) There is a biblical argument to discriminate against a Christian that is "living in sin." It's rather clear, actually. Non-Christians? No argument at all. Yes, to disassociate yourselves from people who call themselves Christians that are living an immoral lifestyle clearly contrary to God's standards (1 Corinthians 5: 9-11). And even that "discrimination" is done out of love with an eye towards restoration. Yes, it is a discipline done out of love and also a protection for yourself. This thread has gotten derailed pretty hard. Sorry for that lol. Edited July 24, 2014 by Dutch

seanbrock 1,684 Posted July 24, 2014 (edited) Maybe Jesus didn't have any interest in politics, but he was DEFINITELY for economic equality and against consumerism. Jesus said people should pay taxes...that makes him not an anarchist lol. Pretty sure he'd be against indiscriminately killing brown people the world over to protect American or any other government for that matter economic interests too.
