BLUE 1,026 Posted July 23, 2014 Per Rotoworld.com: Jets signed DL Jason Babin to a two-year deal. The second year of the contract is a team option. Financial details were not immediately available, but we'd expect little guaranteed money for a 34-year-old player that was cut by the Jaguars a month ago. It's still a nice flier for the Jets, as Rex Ryan has squeezed plenty out of defensive players with far less ability. Babin led the Jags with 7.5 sacks and 19 quarterback pressures a year ago, and earned a top-nine pass-rushing grade among defensive ends in PFF's rankings. He profiles as depth off the edge and a situational pass-rusher in New York. Jul 23 - 11:32 AM Source: Kimberly Jones on Twitter

JetsFan4Life 542 Posted July 24, 2014 I like the move. Figure if anyone can get anything out of Babin near the end of his career it's Ryan.
CampinWithaMissingPerson 2,025 Posted July 25, 2014 Not a bad signing for depth, can't have enough rushers.
