Vin+ 3,121 Posted October 22, 2014 Jets signed WR Jeremy Kerley to a four-year, $16 million extension through 2018. The deal includes $5.4 million guaranteed. It's a lot of money for a run-of-the-mill slot man. The timing is odd, as the Jets just acquired Percy Harvin, and Kerley is mired in an underwhelming season. Kerley was heading into the final year of his rookie contract, however. The deal almost certainly doesn't include any guaranteed money beyond 2015. The Jets now have each of Kerley, Harvin and Eric Decker signed through 2018. Gang Green is placing a premium on wideout after getting caught short at the position in 2013.
