Calling out all Seahawks fans (minus BC)

Recommended Posts

Yet we're the ones who get a smacktalk thread calling us out? Figures. We disappear and we're cowards. Niner fans disappear and it's perfectly acceptable. Why do we always get dumped on for things everyone else gets away with? Maybe I should start a "Where are all the Niner Fans?" thread.

lol dumbass.

To echo what Zack said, there's never been more than a few Niner fans posting on here at any point in time. Besides for Bay, the only core Niner fans were RANGA and Pwillie and they only posted sporadically regardless of how the Niners were doing, so yeah.

Meanwhile, we had a pack of Seahawk fans constantly flaunting their shit all over TGP all the way up until SB Sunday. Then you losers immediately go MIA. It's almost fucking May and Jayrus is just now showing his face lmao. How long will it be until the others climb out of the woodwork? What a bunch of fairweathered fairies. :mjlaugh:

He gave up on his team mid-game. Big difference, bro.

Just like he gave up on them midseason in 2011. Ya know, the year they went to the Superbowl.

Fairweather? I've been here since 2011. I was lurking around NFL.com for at least a year before that. While I admit I didn't get totally into football until around 2007, it has always been a staple of our house. Our family has always followed Green Bay and Seattle for as long as I can remember, and when I got into the game I stuck with Seattle and always have done. I was around when Holmgren was paying old players big money to do nothing. I was here through the begininng of the Carroll era when were rebuilding form scratch. I was not one of the many so called "Seahawks fans" who simply appeared out of the ether when we finally had a winning season.

I do fully admit to holding onto the "the nfl is against us" mentality for way too long, even after we won the superbowl. I understand that many of us got way too full of ourselves. I also already admitted to vanishing, and why I did. I also admit calling out the Niner fanbase, which has never had much in the way of numbers here, for doing the same was a bad idea. On further reflection, I think I simply lump anyone who jumps in with support of the Niners regardless of their team affiliation as a "niner fan". It just always seems to me a large portion of our members are quick to jump in for them and destroy anyone who dares to insinuate they or their fans aren't perfect. Though that's probably my emotions talking. As you all probably know, my blind hatred of that team leads me to easily slip and say something I end up regretting.

I may be many things. I know my reputation here is a bit of a joke. However one thing I am not, and will never be is a fairweather fan. I supported the Seahawks when they were nothing, and while I did take a lengthy vacation, I am not going to walk out on them now simply because they fucked up a superbowl at the very end. After all I'm sure there are quite a few fanbases who would love to even have gotten that far. So I suppose I can see how bad it looks that so many of us disppeared after losing a close game in the Superbowl. Mea Culpa.
