BLUE 1,026 Posted May 18, 2015 Per Rotoworld.com: Patriots signed ILB Brandon Spikes to a one-year contract. Spikes spent the first four years of his career with the Patriots, starting 39 regular-season games and five playoff games (including Super Bowl XLVI). After a one-year stint in Buffalo, he returns to New England as depth behind rehabbing Jerod Mayo (patellar tendon) and Dont'a Hightower (labrum). It's cheap and viable insurance for Bill Belichick. BLUE 1,026 Posted June 8, 2015 Per Rotoworld.com: Patriots released ILB Brandon Spikes. Police are investigating Spikes for a hit-and-run in Massachusetts that hospitalized three people this weekend. It's not clear if Spikes did anything wrong, but the Patriots didn't want to wait and find out. The organization had clearly put Spikes on a zero-tolerance policy after an initial falling out with Bill Belichick. Despite his run-stopping acumen, Spikes will have a hard time finding work during the investigation. Jun 8 - 10:31 AM Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter
