FartWaffles 1,857 Posted December 17, 2015 Ron Rivera -He's just not head coach material in my opinion. Tends to coach scared, and the team has stalled over the years. Also... http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/8363/jeff-fisher NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports Rams coach Jeff Fisher and GM Les Snead are both considered safe for 2016. It's a cruel joke for Rams fans, but hardly a surprise. With the franchise in relocation chaos, owner Stan Kroenke has bigger worries. He's not going to lead the search for a new head coach as he tries to take his team to Los Angeles. Fisher's teams have regressed since his 2012 arrival, while he and Snead have created one of the least talented offenses in recent memory. Fisher would be fired were he coaching in any other situation. It's amazing that Fisher has been a head coach for so long, considering how extremely mediocre his teams have been for over 90% of his career.

SteVo+ 3,702 Posted December 18, 2015 (edited) Nah, Chip is gonna get another year, and he and Bradford will rise or fall together. As of now, here's how I see it: Gon' Get Fired Mike Pettine. Browns gonna Brown. Chuck Pagano. He's this year's Harbaugh, the-coach-the-media-said-would-get-fired-but-didn't-make-sense-until-the-season-started guy. Mike Mularkey [interim]. They have the franchise QB, now they gotta find the right coach. Sean Payton. Time to move on. Maybe, Maybe Not Dan Campbell [interim]. This may ultimately come down to whether a dysfunctional franchise like Miami can woo a solid coach. If not, might as well stick with Campbell. Gus Bradley. Khan seems like a patient owner, but the lack of results in Jacksonville has to be frustrating. Mike McCoy. 9-7, 9-7, 3-10. Is one bad season enough? Tom Coughlin. I'm putting him here because he might retire, probably not get the axe (officially). Jim Caldwell. They already cleaned house in the front office, so the new GM will probably want to pick his head coach. Jeff Fisher. Don't care what Rapoport says, Fisher sucks. DonovanMcnabb for H.O.F 2,241 Posted December 18, 2015 Caldwell is as good as gone. He had a bit of hope when the Lions were making that small midseason come back, but that's over. Austin might get another chance, and maybe the DB coach, but mostly everyone else aren't coming back. If Caldwell comes back after this season I probably won't be going outa my way to wake up early every Sunday to watch the Lions.
oochymp 2,393 Posted December 18, 2015 Whiz has the rookie qb excuse, he's not getting canned unless we're absolutely atrocious oh, we were definitely shitty last year, and another 2-14 season would force the team to at least consider replacing him, but as long as Mariota at least looks decent and we're competitive in most of our games he'll get a pass even though Whizenhunt was fired, I think I was still right
