All NFC North Team

Recommended Posts

Let's make All-Star teams out of all the divisions.

There are no formal rules for this. You can mix and match your players to fit any style you would want to play. This is especially true on offense, where I give you the option to choose a 2nd RB, a 2nd TE, or a 3rd WR. What kind of offense do you want to run for your All-Star team?

On defense, you can fill out a 3-4 or a 4-3. Or you can do both for fun, but only one could take the field in a hypothetical scenario. Let's get to it!

Can you guys also add a CB3 to your roster? I should have included it originally.

I'm sitting here looking at these 4-3 rosters and not seeing Everson Griffin. Were any of you guys paying attention last year?

Offense:
QB: Aaron Rodgers

WR2: Jordy Nelson

Utility player (RB2/TE2/WR3): Matt Forte
LT: Jermon Bushrod

Two teams run each system, but I think the 4-3 works better for the combo
4-3 defense
RDE: Ziggy Ansah
DT: B.J. Raji
DT: Haloti Ngata
LDE: Julius Peppers
LOLB: Clay Matthews
MLB: Chad Greenway
ROLB: DeAndre Levy
CB1: Kyle Fuller
CB2: Xavier Rhodes
CB3: Casey Hayward
FS: Harrison Smith
SS: Glover Quinn
Return Specialist: Marc Mariani
Punter: Sam Martin
Kicker: Matt Prater
Head Coach: Mike Zimmer
Offensive Coordinator: Adam Gase
Defensive Coordinator: Vic Fangio
and the breakdown:
Packers: 9 players
Vikings: 4 players, 1 coach
Bears: 6 players, 2 coaches
Lions: 7 players
and let me go ahead and address what I know will raise the most questions: I am aware that I included two RBs and neither is Adrian Peterson, the fact of the matter is the NFC North happens to be home to three top tier RBs and one of them didn't play last year, so I'm going with what I see as the safer options, I also thought about Cobb in the flex spot, but I like Forte's versatility
and to Bware, I thought hard about Griffen, but I just couldn't justify putting him ahead of Ansah or Peppers

Griffin 12 sacks

Ansah 7.5

Peppers 7

He's better than Ansah, imo. Dunno about Peppers so much.

Fusco over Sitton is hilarious

In that case, fuck Kyle Long--he's overrated.

Fusco grades out really well every. He's kind of an unheralded but great guard. I'm happy with him and Sitton at the guards.

yeah, it's a close call, my point is someone good was going to be left off, it's happened in all of these I've done and I anticipate it happening in the ones I haven't gotten to, every division is apparently stacked somewhere

Peppers raw numbers may not be the greatest, but his impact was felt A LOT. He made those big, impact, splash type plays when the Packers D needed them most (let's just forget about the Seattle game)... I didn't watch as many Viking games, but the ones I did watch Griffen didn't have that same.. Next level type of impact.

Everyone said Ziggy Ansah was going to be a bust before the draft. Look at him now.

Since all you guys love pff. Long graded out better than Fusco. Same old bware just different teams.

Two guards should be Sittion and Long cause both>>Fusco

C: Corey Linsley

Only problem I have with this list is the center position. Corey Linsley was great last year, and I'm rooting for him because he's a Buckeye, but John Sullivan has arguably been the best center in the division for years, and he hasn't necessarily shown signs of regressing.

Explain his absence.

You can mix and match your players to fit any style you would want to play. You can mix and match your players to fit any style you would want to play. You can mix and match your players to fit any style you would want to play.

Thats why. Maybe you can read it this time.
