Sarge+ 3,436 Posted August 3, 2015 (edited) Let's make All-Star teams out of all the divisions. There are no formal rules for this. You can mix and match your players to fit any style you would want to play. This is especially true on offense, where I give you the option to choose a 2nd RB, a 2nd TE, or a 3rd WR. What kind of offense do you want to run for your All-Star team? On defense, you can fill out a 3-4 or a 4-3. Or you can do both for fun, but only one could take the field in a hypothetical scenario. Let's get to it! AFC East: Offense: QB: RB1: WR1: WR2: TE: Utility player (RB2/TE2/WR3): LT: LG: C: RG: RT: 4-3 defense RDE: DT: DT: LDE: LOLB: MLB: ROLB: CB1: CB2: CB3: FS: SS: 3-4 defense DE: NT: DE: LOLB: ILB: ILB: ROLB: CB1: CB2: FS: SS: Return Specialist: Punter: Kicker: Head Coach: Offensive Coordinator: Defensive Coordinator: Edited August 3, 2015 by Sarge

Sarge+ 3,436 Posted August 3, 2015 I hate to do this, but can you guys also add a CB3 to your posts? I was going to include it originally, and for some reason I decided against it.

oochymp 2,393 Posted August 7, 2015 (edited) Offense: QB: Tom Brady (I'm ignoring the suspension) RB1: Lesean McCoy WR1: Sammy Watkins WR2: Brandon Marshall TE: Rob Gronkowski Utility player (RB2/TE2/WR3): Eric Decker LT: Nate Solder LG: Richie Incognito C: Nick Mangold RG: Mike Pouncey (he's technically a C, but him at RG is better than any of the actual RGs in this division) RT: Sebastian Vollmer three of four teams ran a 4-3 last year, with Buffalo adding Rex Ryan they may shift to 3-4 but I think the personnel still fits better in a 4-3 4-3 defense RDE: Mario Williams DT: Marcel Dareus DT: Muhammad Wilkerson LDE: Cameron Wake LOLB: David Harris MLB: Jerod Mayo ROLB: Dont'a Hightower CB1: Derrelle Revis CB2: Stephon Gilmore CB3: Malcolm Butler FS: Devin McCourty SS: Reshad Jones Return Specialist: Percy Harvin Punter: Brandon Fields Kicker: Stephen Gostkowski Head Coach: Bill Belichick Offensive Coordinator: Bill Lazor Defensive Coordinator: Rex Ryan (this is where he should be) and the breakdowns: Patriots: 9 players, 1 coach Bills: 7 players, 1 coach Jets: 6 playersDolphins: 4 players, 1 coach and I just realized this is my eighth one, so I'm done Edited August 7, 2015 by oochymp
Dutch 874 Posted August 7, 2015 I think the AFC East all star squad would beat all the other Division All star squads. The NFC North would be the league's offensive power house hands down. Hard to imagine pairing Aaron Rodgers, A.P, Megatron and Jordy Nelson together and they lose because you'd think they would outscored everyone and dominate on offense. However, considering the abundance of elite talent on defense in the Afc East, primarily from that Bills d-line that shut down EVERY elite QB they faced last year (including the great Aaron Rodgers), combined with Revis at corner (possibly paired with Grimes), I'm convinced that defense would shut down any offense in the league. The NFC North defense isn't good enough imo to stop Tom and his weapons on offense. The. Nfc West would be great on defense but not good enough on offense. The AFC East all star team would reign supreme over any other division all star team.
Sarge+ 3,436 Posted August 9, 2015 Yea, that AFC East defense is insane. Luckily no offense will ever have to play against it.
seanbrock 1,684 Posted August 10, 2015 Call me a homer if you want but I think the NFCE squad would hang with anyone. The secondary isn't the best but our front 7 is strong, especially the 4-3 version. Offensively nobody has corners that can cover Dez, OBJ and DeSean. We have one of the best offensive lines and a physical RB.
oochymp 2,393 Posted August 10, 2015 NFCE doesn't have much of a secondary, I think Brady'd pick them apart regardless of who he's throwing to, and Lesean McCoy behind this oline would be beyond scary then on the other side you've got a ridiculously good dline, you might never have to rush your LBs, then you've got a very good secondary the only real weakness in this team is at WR (behind Watkins) but Brady doesn't really need WRs
