Deal is actually 1 year for 1 Million, with 2 million in incentives. The first incentive is hit if Phillips reaches 8 sacks. So this is a pretty sweet deal for a pass rusher. -
NFL Mafia, QB Edition

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to NFL mafia. Our story begins just three days before the NFL draft. In the secret league of quarterbacks, an assassination has taken place. Matt Schaub has been found dead with a knife in his back. The suspect or suspects are currently in the room. Which of the nine quarterbacks here are the murderers?
Flavour aside, welcome to mafia. For those of you who don't know how mafia works, there are two phases to the game. The day phase where we start consists of all the currently alive users attempting to figure out who the scum is, (murderer, werewolf, mafia, what have you). Once town decides whether to go through with a lynch or not at the end of the day, the result happens, the dead player's role is revealed, and night phase begins. Discussion and day phase should stay within the thread.
Night phase is where role players begin their actions. Cops investigate, doctors protect, and mafia arranges who they'll attempt to kill. You cannot talk with other players about the game during this phase unless you're mafia, in which case it's encouraged. Once all night actions are completed, I'll reveal who dies at the end of the phase, if anyone dies. Night Actions should be sent to me by PM.
In any case, I'm doing this round with nine players, so sign up quickly if you want in. Since I'll be running this, I'm not playing. You know you want in. There aren't gonna be any crazy complex roles in this game, so don't worry too much.

2013 Duds and Studs

Who are the players in the draft you think will be hits no matter where they end up, and duds likewise. Just think about guys who are projected to go in the first or early second at worst.
Guys I really like:
Eric Fisher, OT Central Michigan
Size, athleticism, and grit. He's gonna be a promising LT for someone.
Star Loutelelei, DT, Utah
He's gonna be a force up the middle, I think he best as a 3-4 DE, terrorizing the field like Calais Campbell.
Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
I think he'll make a Jason Witten type of impact for the team who picks him up. Hands, speed, size, durability and he's got a good head too.
And guys who are gonna really suck:
DJ Fluker, OT, Alabama
Just doesn't strike me as ready for the pro game.
Tavon Austin, WR, WVU
All this hype might not amount to much. Steve Smith is his absolute ceiling, but I can't help but feel like we're looking at a Darrius Heyward-Bey all over again.
Cordarelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
He's gonna be a drop machine and a non factor for his couple of years. No idea how resilient the guy is, but his learning curve is gonna be steep.
Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
Can't help but feel he'll be an injury problem or a non-factor for his career.
