1. Atlanta Falcons
We keep on showing what we’re made of each game, our defense is not firing on all cylinders..or that many for that matter after the 3rd quarter ends. Our offense, and Matt Ryan carry this team to victory, important stretch ahead for us with 4 of our next 5 games being away (St. Louis, Carolina, Seattle, and Tampa Bay). If we keep a 3-1 record through those four games, we’re in good shape. (ATL4Ever)
2. New York Jets
Good team that …

1. New Orleans Saints
The Saints didn’t look spectacular against Minnesota, but they won, and that’s enough to keep the defending champs atop the rankings. (SteVo)
2. New York Giants
I think they had the most impressive showing out of any team, thus far. Shut down DeAngelo Williams and The Daily Show, and they picked off Matt Moore 3 times and made him look like the worst QB in the league. (RazorStar)
3. Green Bay Packers
Being a Packer fan I can easily say our Offensive game was unacceptable. Our …

I recently caught up with Miami Dolphins starting quarterback Chad Henne for an interview at the first annual John Gilmore/Chad Henne All-Star Weekend Youth Football Clinic at Wilson High School in West Lawn, Pennsylvania.
The proceeds from the weekend and the Gilmore/Henne Community Fund will be used to improve recreational facilities around Berks County (Pennsylvania) and to provide scholarships for local high school students. Please visit www.bccf.org for more details.
Henne and I talked about a range of topics including his continued development as a quarterback, the upcoming Dolphins …

Just like any other year in the NFL, 2009 has provided the fans with many different playoff scenarios. The funny thing is, one conference has a bunch of teams that are still alive, while the other has three teams currently fighting over two wildcard spots. The NFC is pretty much set, aside from the Giants still trying to fight their way in to the final NFC seed. The Giants have done enough to prove that they could be dangerous if they get in and I wouldn’t be surprised …

1. Saints (6-0) – 24-3? No problem, Drew Brees and the explosive offense lead them all the way back albeit on the road, my early super bowl favorites.
2. Colts (6-0) – Absolutely on fire, can anybody stop Peyton?
3. Broncos (6-0) – The front office is looking like sharp bunch, Jay who?
4. Vikings (6-1) – Harsh loss up in Pittsburgh, I put the blame of that one firmly on the shoulders of Brett Favre, if they want to be among the elite, they need to beat the elite.
5. Pittsburgh …

1.Saints (5-0) – Huge win over New York, Drew Brees is a monster.
2.Broncos (6-0) – A divisional road win on MNF to stay undefeated, these guys are legit.
3.Vikings (6-0) – No longer just the Adrian Peterson show in Minnesota, however they got extremely lucky this week and almost squandered a big 4th quarter lead.
4.Colts (5-0) – They had two weeks to prepare for the Rams, no reason they can’t stay unbeaten another week.
5.Falcons (4-1) – Matt Ryan is the truth, suffered a big loss in Brian Williams.
6.Giants (5-1) …

… I’m at it again with these stats things. This time I’m attempting to measure the best runningbacks of all time using a few basic formulas. Their recorded stats are on the left side of the spreadsheet, that includes total yards, total carries, total touchdowns, yards per carry, yards per game and carries per game.
In the middle is their adjusted stat count, which factors out the players best and worst season and then extrapolates the stats over the total amount of games played using the formula (Stat – …

Boston College quarterback Dominique Davis has decided to transfer after he was suspended by the university for academic reasons, the school announced Tuesday.
The move leaves the Eagles without any quarterbacks who have thrown a pass at the Football Bowl Subdivision level. Both Justin Tuggle, a redshirt freshman, and Codi Boek, a junior who transferred last year from American River Junior College after starting his career in 2006 at Idaho State, were competing with Davis for the starting job this spring.
Davis was the only one who had starting …
